Is the new fashion fad for college girls to wear UGA football jerseys with short shorts? This one is new to me, but it's been a while. They also seem louder and more obnoxious than I recall.

It is. That and wearing oversized sorority shirts with norts, it's all the rage for the sorostitutes.

Waiting at a light on Milledge now and there's two more beside me trying to figure out how to ride a scooter (a Razor scooter, not the kind our players get arrested on).

The look is less than flattering, I'll say that. I used to expect more when traveling down Milledge.
These were all sorostitutes and the odd thing was, none of them were, well....in great shape. It's like the jersey thing is a plastic bag designed to hide their shapes from each other and help "everyone" to "fit in".

Glad they didn't dress like that when I went there... But then again, they seem to be much better looking these days.

I think most of it has to do with comfort, as far as the greek t shirts are concerned. Jerseys in august doesn't make sense because those are hot as frick.
But ultimately, it's just a trend. I don't think there's much of a motive behind it.

I think his point is we used to be a destination for the "popular chicks" who were popular at least partially because they were attractive. Many, I'm sure, were also intelligent. However, we're now the destination for good academics which means everybody's coming in, not just the "cool kids".
