While that is true for them and many others, we seem to have a propensity for shitting the bed when we are ranked high.
And the issue in my mind is, regardless of the rational, too young, too good (looking to the NFL), away games, rookie QB/Lines/DBs, whatever, 4 to 5 losses a year are AOK. That is a fine year and we should be proud. We will hoist up the pants, tape the ankles and go get'em next year.

If the team that got off the bus at Clemson (which would include MM) were still playing we'd face a 1 loss Bama in the SECCG, probably for a shot at the Noles.

Not only is bama finishing lower, they had a cakewalk schedule and only one starter injured this year. And they've got more talent/depth.
