People forget the D lost Trufant also.
I agree we are relatively healthy though.

I'm kind of curious about the details of his arrest. I remember hearing a while back there was a video and that the falcons organization saw the video and were waiting on the rest of the facts to come out.
The police report sounded pretty bad but the fact that nothing else has come of it makes me wonder if it was actually as bad as initially reported. You would think with all the negative publicity the league has experienced they would have erred on the side of caution and left him out.

To be honest, the secondary hasn't really looked that much different in his absence. If anything, it's caused Alford and Collins to really step their game up lately.

Collins has been really good. Next year when Trufant comes back, this secondary is going to be insanely good.

the whole defense really has some bright years ahead of them. Combine that with another solid 5 years out of Matty Ice and it appears that this team is in it for the long haul.

I feel more confident this week than I did last week. That probably isn't a good thing. Green Bay is banged up in the secondary and at WR. They have a WR playing RB. They get one less day of rest than Atlanta.
Atlanta is at home with the far better and healthier team (unlike 2012 when Atl and SF were dead even). If it's going to happen for Ryan, the stars are aligned perfectly right now.

Atlanta needs this to shed the "Choke City" nickname

All of GB's WR's are expected to play, A-Rod has the flu but this cat is the MJ of the NFL. This team scares the shite out of me but I have a feeling the birds pull it out late, Matty finally gets over the hump.

Keanu Neal is going to make Jordy regret his decision to give it a go.

I'm not a falcons fan but man it's impossible to not get fired up for the home team lately. Heading to a bar a little after lunchtime to settle in.

It's worth 15 yds for Neal to see how much Nelson wants to play today
