Well... It's had a great run but it's time to retire my favorite UGA hat ever. (Girlfriend says it looks trashy now... I say it has character dammit. My first dog, who is no longer with me, chewed on the brim a little 3 days after I got it, so it's not like it's looked new in a LONG time.) I wanted to retire it on a MNC but we ended up a few yards short. :( Hoping that this next hat starts out with a bang. Looking for suggestions on a new style that I might be able to purchase online as I'm rarely in Athens anymore. I feel like you guys are probably more up on whats out there than I am.

I will say that I prefer a fitted cap, to save some posting. I'm not violently opposed to a black hat but I prefer red. Not a fan of the white generally, but maybe someone finds one that looks pretty sweet?

Appreciate any suggestions/advice/input and even the occasional eff off. Go. Dawgs.

Couple more shots of ye olde UGA hat from other angles for posterity sake.

God no... Just a good old ballcap. Those things look ridiculous. Plus have you seen this?

Been rocking this sucker for almost a decade. Grey and frayed as all hell; barely looks anything like this one anymore.

FooManChoo: That looks like the same hat. Matter of fact, I'm wondering if the company didn't just change names. Tag on the inside of mine says "The Franchise" by Twins Enterprises. That hat is made by "The '47 Franchise". I think I may have to get the red one at least to retain my classic look. Thinking about opening up the repertoire a bit though and grabbing an additional cap or two this season this year. Thoughts on these?

Casual/Wearing around:

As you can see, I am digging some of the plaid options.

For Golf:

First one is probably a bit loud for me but I could rock it if I can get my score sub 80! Second one is buckle adjust which I'm not a fan of but I liked the hat design.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Keep 'em coming if there are any other good finds out there.

Also, if I end up moving, I feel like I'm going to have to get a fun Bravos hat to support and I REALLY liked this one.

I'll take suggestions on these as well if people have them. Anyone know if there is an "El Oso Blanco" Braves hat out yet?

I had the all white version of that hat a LONG time ago. It didn't hold up well at all. This last red one held up about 8 years in decent shape and the last 2 it really should have hit the can but I couldn't bear to do it. At this point, it's really fairly pink. I figure it just means I should throw a breast cancer ribbon that says "I <3 the TaTas."

RunLindsayRun... no. just no. I think wearing that hat might immediately get me pulled over.

Chris: That's not awful. Just not sure how I feel about asymmetrical designed brims. I prefer solid - but if not solid - symmetrical designs tend to look more appealing to me.

For GT, if I had to pick one to take a dump in? This Flat Bill...

Gun to my head/Lost a bet and had to wear one?

Would look alright with jeans and the color on the underside of the bill is a subdued but nice touch. I just wouldn't plan on getting laid that night. Meh... not that different from any other night to be honest.

OPTION B:
If you wanna go with the Mark Richt look, throw in a chin strap.

I'm with Durden, I have one like that pic but it's red and white. It breaths and it's going to the lake with me to go trout fishing on Memorial day. The breathe better and fit well.
