I'm not a fan of naming dogs after people, but there was a Pollack bulldog always hanging out at the place I got my hair cut in Athens. Liked that name.

I think Hutson is the name.

You have an unusual name, a former QB and "hut" as in calling your football team to attention. It is also close to Hudson which according to this list is supposed to be one of the more popular dog names. LINK
