This team is going to be shite. I think Shanny is the real problem, but to most it seems to be M Ryan. We need M Ryan back in the no huddle.

It's both. Ryan has been horrible, but Shanahan hasn't exactly tailored the offense to fit what he does well.

The root cause of the problem (shitty roster) is the supposed GM dimitroff although shanny doesn't help.
Ryan is a good not great QB who needs a very stout team around him. Think Flacco or Dilfer as opposed to Rogers and Brady.

Flacco is significantly better than Dilfer. Dilfer was never a guy who could win games, he just wouldn't lose them. Ryan and Flacco are around the same tier, although Flacco is one of the best playoff QBs in the league.
There have been two major missteps over the last few years that has caused Ryan to regress. The Falcons never failed to even adequately replace Tony Gonzalez, and they let Dirk Koetter go when they fired Mike Smith.
