My Mom passed over the weekend

Thank you to all of you who had provided support when I made my original thread. Even though we knew it was coming I just wasn't prepared for the suddenness. She talked so normal during our visit Saturday...and she passed that afternoon. This really sucks.

So sorry to hear, Spiff. I have lost some good friends but I'm very thankful to still have both my parents and my sisters still with me. Can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. Hang in there, let the GSB family know if you need anything.

Sorry to hear that. It was the same way with my dad. You think you are prepared but it still hits you like a freight train when it happens.

Sorry for your loss Spiff.
I lost my Daddy about 8 years ago and know the grief. The pain lessens over time but Father's Day is like a reminder now.

Prayers sent Spiff, losing a parent is the worst.. Imma a lot older than most of y'all so it's becoming a too frequent occurrence in my little world.
Think of and celebrate the good times and all of the things she taught you about life and love. Then make sure you pass the lessons and love on...
