I recall you being one of the Eason haters.

This last drive reminded me of David Green at Tennessee with I think 15 seconds left - will never frget the poise - not sure he was a true freshamn either.

Missouri is not as bad as I thought and were are about as bad as I thought. I still don't see more than 2-4 wins on the schedule. I thought wer were an 8-4 team and I seriously think we could wind up below .500. This season was going to be rough no matter what....new staff, freshman QB etc. What has surprised me is our offensive line being NON Existant.....I knew we would struggle but goog lord....


Eason is the real deal though. And Chubb, even with averaging what, 3 yards or less a carry was a HUGE factor in the game because Missoo sold out the run and forced a freshman QB to win it...which he did.

And, as bad as the defense looked at times there were some adjustments made and the ship righted....that and a kid with a canon for an arm got cocky and forced some throws he shouldn't have. All in all a Dooleyesque type win...a win we shouldn't have....and those are sweeter than any other kind!

Our roster is by far better than Missouri's. Our O Line watched most of the game with us. They should have to by a ticket for that shat. Embarrassing to me. Glad to get a W and love a good, hard faught, close game...but if this is our new identity, we are in trouble and gonna be wishing for 10 win seasons. UT, Auburn, USC and GT ain't gonna be any easier to watch. UK and even Vandy will give us fits.

We are going to struggle and struggle mightily. Bu there are some things to take heart in....Eason has potential to be great...he ain't great right now but he has potential...I don't think his arm is as advertised or his mechanics aren't....but both will improve tremendously...this time last year he was going to home coming in high school...he is a baby...

Chubb can make a difference even when it doesn't look like he can...we are going to see exactly what Missoo and Nichols did all season....and we won't see much better defensive line than Mizzoo....

And coaching....some good adjustments and the ability to keep 'em in the game...there is no way we are 3-0 with Richt this season....we have been seriously behind in every game...we would have lost at least one of those games.

The future is bright but this and next season are going to tough...
