He's had plenty of time to get us in the right direction, and every time we think we are doing something good for our program, we lose back to back games to shitty opponents.

Just another year for UGA basketball. Getting embarrassed at home on national tv to lackluster Alabama seals it for me.

Fire him.

What would shock you more:

Fox actually being fired or McGarity making an impressive hire to fill the vacancy?

We know...this has been on the board each of the last three weeks. Your blaming him and he isn't even on the bench this half.

Heck, he'll probably resign after this cluster. This isn't his fault...they brought zero effort tonight.

If I had a choice, I'd fire McGarity first. It would utterly shock me if Fox gets fired after we go one and done in the SECs.

What exactly do you think the role of a head basketball coach is?

The effort tonight was unescapable. Nothing the staff could have done. It happens a lot that one team beats another for multiple games.

Appreciate Fox for taking the program out of the cellar and into being respectable. Gotta say though I'm unfortunately confident that he probably can't take us any further from here.

Good call. A team who lacks effort isn't on the head coach.

The is the only game I've seen us play where we played like we wanted to be somewhere else. Never seen his teams play like this. He may resign in the morning.

This is an outstanding and depressing point.

Well, if he were to be a man about things, he would be very different than you.

Team quitting on him tonight is a ringing endorsement for him being fired. Didn't really respond to his ejection much less coming out motivated to start the game. Fox obviously felt the pressure.

There is talent on this roster. Make a good hire and we could be a quality team next year.

Next game will tell if they will still respond. If they don't come back with any more energy tomorrow then they will go in another direction.

Yea, I am fully on the coaching change bandwagon at this point. I think the most glaring issue is recruiting. There are 390 NBA basketball players right now and only one was a Dawg... we can and should do better

We'll be prepared for people to transfer and our top 50 recruit to look to sign else where. I forget what the policy is for signee's.

Fox is liked by his players.

GA Tech has destroyed two top 10 teams in UNC and FSU last night with a first yr HC. Fox has done all he could, hopefully McGarity makes a quality hire which is a major question mark.

Ok, here's my thing. If we fire him, fine. Get someone who runs a more dynamic offense and who can recruit. But you better make sure you knock this hire out of the fricking park. Here's why: believe it or not, this is about as good a stretch as we've had at UGA. We're a school with little to no basketball history outside of one final four appearance. If y'all want to fire a coach because you think that we can be a lot better, go ahead. I just think we're pretty close to our ceiling.
