Basically Tunsil's step-dad is a total asshat and tried to represent himself in court against Laremy and his mom. Proceeded to get owned. Story is starting to look like step-dad wanted a piece of the action Laremy was getting from the agents but was being cut out so he got violent with mom in an argument over it when Laremy beat him up.
So, he's not about to win his legal case but he may actually be right about Tunsil getting stuff from agents; totally believable as far as a motive is concerned.

"But new details did arise as Miller represented himself and attorney Steve Farese defended Tunsil.
In Avent's courtroom Miller claimed that he told his wife, Desiree Tunsil, that he was "sick and tired of [Laremy Tunsil] riding around with agents and taking things" and "told her that was stupid."
Desiree Tunsil then went outside of her home in Taylor, Mississippi and told her son that Miller called her stupid. When Tunsil came to the door he was greeted by Miller, who says he extended his arm to shake Tunsil's hand, but was instead pushed by the All-American left tackle.
Six-foot-5, 305-pound Tunsil then hit Miller twice before getting on top of him and continuing to hit the 53-year-old, according to Miller's account of what happened.
"I was almost blacking out," Miller reportedly said in court. Even though he refused medical treatment offered to him by police after the incident, which he called "a brutal attack" Miller referred to Tunsil's hits as a series of "deadly blows," saying he was knocked "nearly unconscious."
Speaking publicly for the first time since the incident, Tunsil admitted to hitting Miller, but said each of them throw punches and ended up on the ground before they were separated."

Looks like mamma got Tunsil upset and both exchanged blows. Who hit first is the question. The NCAA is asking Ole Miss questions now.
