Rivalry Application denied due to overflow of current teams viewing us as their superbowls.

They will ALWAYS bring their A games against us, Auburn is slowly approaching this and TN is looming. We have too many teams that view us as their most hated in the SEC.

Ain't this the truth. I'd say we're on equal hate with Florida and Auburn, but Georgia Tech and USCjr are just ridiculous. I've been to several games against both opponents and it is absurd how much they hate us. Uga could give two shits about tech or USCjr, but Spurrier will continue to own is until we act like we care in that game.

Missourri has managed to do something we have not in the last two years....their road to atlanta is going to almost always go through us....our continued thinking of Missourri as a Vanderbilt or Kentucky is ridiculous...Us, UT and UF and USC to a lesser extent should be humilated beyond words for allowing Missouri to get to Atlanta EVER....but 2 years in a row???? We are as out of touch with reality on this front as any fanbase of any program is on any front....

I have a theory as to why this is....we, as fans, pretend that we are an Alabama...and yet we lose to Vanderbilt every once in a while.....we have no reason for building ourselves up as we do....we haven't won the SEC in what, 10 years now? But we do it, and the press, knowing it gets us hyped up even more, takes up the mantle, and then we shite the bed against USC and programs have a track record of playing us when we are over rated and beating us and they come to beleive that they actually beat a very good team when in fact what they have beaten is a very talented team not living up to its potential. Why doesn't Texas AM look at Alabama in the same light? Because Alabama lives up to its hype most of the time when we never have...

Right. That's called divisional play......not the creation of a "rivalry".
We don't share a state, or a border, or a history, or even a culture. Hell, we've only played them all of 4 times. And we're not even the same species.
Let them invent some rivalry out of thin air with one of the other new money lottery winners like a&m or Arkansas..

We fans have nothing to do with it, GA is centrally located to 7 programs and they all recruit here so everyone of those teams have dozens of GA born players on their teams. Those kids want to prove UGA wrong for passing on them or to show their former teammates and rivals they grew up with they are better. Take the fans completely away and those teams would still hate us.

Their road to ATL doesn't go "through us" as we beat them down last year. Their SECW schedule and our ability to go full-retard vs SCU and UF is the only reason they've ever played in the dome.
