One group of 5 team, the power 5 conference champ that isn't in the playoff, and I think the rest is based on rankings/matchups/tradition. By tradition, I basically mean they'll try and stick a Big 10 team and a Pac 12 team in the Rose Bowl if they can.

Anyway, I think a lot of this will now be impacted by Richt's departure. Fans will travel to see his last game. That's why I have started to think we are in FL but we also are middle of the SEC this year so it leaves Music City open. A lot have slated UT for the Music City but UT finished better not to mention they are in state. Nashville would benefit more from UGA fans traveling and staying here than UT fans who would just drive the 2 hours on that shitty interstate.
I just hope like hell it isn't the Liberty. I'd go but I'd need to buy new kevlar

Plus the MCB was richts first bowl game. If the sec or whoever else really wanted to put a period on this story theyd let it come full circle.
