Just announced.

FWIW, there have been rumors of some off the field stuff that is forcing McKenzie to leave early. Seems like this was his onl option.

Wish him the best!

Really would've liked to see McKenzie come back.

I hope the Pats take a flyer on him. H could play him like they did Woodhead and they seem to like the Dawgs over the past couple years (Boss and Mitchell)

Sucks about iMac but like you said it sounds like it wasn't his choice. Glad Dom stayed so we aren't forced to play a young guy there.

If, at the beginning of the season you told me that MacKenzie would go pro but Chubb, Michel, Bellamy, Carter, and Sanders would come back then I'd take it everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Still would. Helluva job convincing those guys to come back.

Not necessarily. He obviously has his utility as a return man and there are receivers at similair sizes playing in the NFL right now. He's likely destined to be a gadget receiver and ST guy but he can still make a lot of money and have a long career doing such

My biggest concern with Isaiah in the pros are his lack of hands. Those slot receivers have to make a bunch of tough catches and I don't think McKenzie has that skill set.

That being said, I hope he succeeds and am very thankful for his time in Athens. He definitely exceeded pretty much everyone's expectations.

I don't think has much more than a cup of coffee in the NFL. I think he was a great college player especially for his size. His ball security, size and muffs will be a problem in NFL. It is easy to think he could be a Wes Welker, but his ball security is weak and his route running is not NFL caliber. I hope I am wrong and he is another Gabriel type player(Falcons). Not too surprised to see him declare as not sure he was the best "student" athlete.

Yep pretty much this. Would rather wish him well than get into these rumors.

Dude's tough and resilient. He's one of those players who's so allusive that he rarely gets trucked. I think he'll have a great pro career.

McKenzie could make it in the pros but he's going to have to put on some weight. His top end speed isn't elite but his change of direction / short area burst is NFL caliber. I don't think he will get drafted unless he finds a way to blow up the combine and weigh in at 180+ but he'll catch on as an UDFA. Wish he was sticking around for another year though, he made a few boneheaded mistakes this year but on the whole he was a major asset to our team.

I agree that just means one less of a target for Eason/Fromm guess Somebody at WR is gonna have to step up.

Godwin needs to step into that slot role and live up to his potential. Ridley and Wims will be your other 2 starters. I'd expect Webb and Holloman to see some time. Maybe Simmons improves as a Soph too

Eason definitely needs to work on his sideline accuracy. It seems that Godwin is always overthrown going down the line.

Eason needs to work on his timing, period. For a guy that started virtually the whole year, he has no idea how to anticipate where his receivers are going to be.

If Fromm develops that rapport as an EE, we may have ourselves a QB battle
