Who didn't know that Mitchell would be a winner?

The headline from Sunday's practice Patriots Practice Observations - Rob Gronkowski, Malcolm Mitchell Standout.

— Here are the results from receiver-defensive back 1-on-1 drills:

WR Malcolm Mitchell beat Coleman

Mitchell beat CB Darryl Roberts

Mitchell beat V’Angelo Bentley

Mitchell beat Roberts

Mitchell specifically stood out during 1-on-1s after missing practice Saturday. Mitchell also walked out to practice with Brady.

Doesn't surprise me. He will be another on a long line of players that did OK under richt and then exploded at the next level.

Maybe under Kirby we can start seeing the opposite. Best years while at UGA!

It helps that he is a perfect fit to play with Tom Brady.

I picture Gronk sitting Indian-style on locker room floor totally captivated and mesmerized...while Malcolm Mitchell reads one of his children's books during story time

Truth. Brady has made a converted MAC QB a pro bowl WR. It's all about timing and repetition with that offense.

Has he been injured recently? Wasn't aware, if so.

MM came to UGA acting like a very immature young man, and grew up a lot by the time he left. He should be very proud of himself.
