Georgiadogs.com is featuring graphics like the above of Coach Squat in his iconic Squattin-heimer position.

I much prefer listening to Shockley over that clown Dowdle.

Forecast for Athens, GA at 3:30pm:

Clear / 96 degrees / Feels like 99 / 37% humidity

That's actually not too bad. ANytime humidity is below 50%, it's like you're catching a break...

anyone know if 680 or any other radio station will be picking up the press conference?

Eta: it will be. They will also have a QB, Jenkins, and one of the coordinators on...all before 3

Is being late to your press conference part of doing things the "Georgia Way"??

Translation of Richt's politician coach-speak on the QB topic:

"Ramsey has incurable dumbass syndrome and has underwhelmed, and worrying about it has aged me ten years over the spring, so we're really hoping one of the other guys can catch up and save this deal."

Recap:

- classic Richt
- QBs will rotate, we will decide later
- we are excited about new players and won't single any out
- glad no one got hurt or in trouble
- coaches adding input to workout/practice schedules
- excited about new coaches
- we just want players to work hard and be their best and depth chart will work itself out
- WR depth is nice to have
- Chubb ran so much out of necessity
- QB situation will work itself out
- QBs will rotate til we decide
- QBs all work hard and know the system
- blah, blah, QB, blah

R.I.P. to Richt's traditional summer practice goat beard.

Crippling nervousness about this QB deal has rendered him unable to grow facial hair this summer.

Unless something hasn't leaked yet (slim chance) or someone goes rogue during camp (could happen I guess), we should be good.

shite, I never thought we'd make it this far.

They aren't really under lock and key and pot can be smoked everywhere. However, they test randomly (positions/offense/defense/etc) every few days and they all know that, so if a player smokes up in the next 4 weeks, he should be suspended for complete stupidity.

The tests should be anything but random, just in case.

while that's true, you've got to think that if we made it January through July with no incidents we're looking good for the month of August since camp and school are starting back up.

Gonna be lots of disappointed folks in the thread on the SC board. Right now the current count sits at 1, and it was for an issue in December that cuased Imac to miss the bowl game.

We test randomly throughout the offseason, but it is spread out amongst months and players have learned "around" when the tests might be...tell someone who smokes up a lot, they cant do it for 4 weeks...

Plus, these kids will be hitting up the bars at night...trouble always around the corner. When I was a freshman, they had to ban the team from City because of 2 incidents of fights.

Agree...they aren't really random per se. They happen every few days, its more random of who gets tested. One day, the whole offense, the next, just WRs, etc.

CIYE's thread is going to shite. Love his excuses

What's the count at currently?

1

quote:
Lots of people gonna overshoot this one I'd guess.

There's still a month left, a lot of the tPOS stuff happens in groups. Like the Crowell car incident or all the players that committed fraud last year.

Really surprised nothing came out of the Spring Break Lightening Round, but that doesn't mean nobody is suspended, they just might try to keep it quiet until right before the game.

quote:
Also, not to tell you how to run things, but the title is misleading. You say "suspended/leave during the offseason", however early December is not the offseason, as there were still games yet to be played. Perhaps our count is actually at zero? Just a suggestions for the '16 thread!

I said last year that I was going to start the '15 one right after the end of the Reg Season. Y'all usually have some solid tPOS'ing in December.
