Anything that's not pure lump charcoal is Mr. Wizard, chemistry set shite and has zero business being near anything meant for human consumption. Y'all can GFY with your propane and your coal dust briquettes and your lighter fluid and your Godless burners with knobs and electric starters.
It's unnatural.
It's unnatural.

I'm with ypu against the clorox chemical company bi-product briquettes.....But, propane is a natural gas isn't it? Doesn't natural wood itself produce flames when heated because of the natural gases released?

Yes you do. I'm sure some folks here would even let you borrow one for this purpose.

You are a coward. You talk shite when nothing is on the line.
You've had two opportunities to talk shite and put your money where your mouth is, and you've been silent.
You can't cook shite, you don't know shite.
Go frick yourself with a piece of burnt pressure-treated pine. It's ok, it's natural.

What if there's a pack of wild midgets living under my house?....
I feel nauseous.

There would be more clues than just a drip pan licked clean.
Have you noticed the robins won't peck around a certain part of the yard? And is that part of your yard within striking distance of your crawlspace door?
Do you have any daffodils that face West?
Have you ever found the drip pan in the yard covered with a candy-like sticky coating, as if fumbled in the hands of a butterscotch-eating subhuman?

frick a trail cam. I need some night-vision goggles..... The Oompa Loompa day of Reckoning is upon us.
I will not stand for this shite.

You miss Grantham. This tells me everything I need to know about your decision making any critical thinking skills.

And you shouldn't have to.
A man has a right to know what is living under his house. This is America.
As we remember those of whom gave it all, and all of those who gave some, to provide us the blanket of freedom we sleep underneath every night, this Memorial Day weekend, it would be a national blasphemy to think you didn't have a right, frick it, a duty, to find out how many of those little motherfrickers are living down there, and further, to expose their little asses to all of the good, damn good people, of the dawgrant.

I fear the wildlings under my house......but not as much as ii do the "heroes" we are suppose to be honoring this weekend. And all the blowback and debt that is coming from their following of orders.
But, at least i have a level of control over this particular situation...
Think i just heard something. Will update when possible.

Blowback goes both ways.
But you now know that. The Children don't.
Remember that when dealing with the Wildlings.
You can use blowback to your advantage.

You need to grill a big batch of 60 40 burgers...and then some ribeyes. Then before bed rig the grill with an IED...
Or grab your go bag and set your house on fire....
It's the only way to be sure.

The Weber Q is the propane grill I have and like when I want to whip something up in a hurry. It's portable and durable--I've used it several years now. LINK. You can use it on a tabletop or a tailgate and it also comes with a stand that's four feet high or so.

Yea, but doesn't wood also release smoke flavor into the meat?
You might as well cook your steak on the stove eye I had an electric grill in the Keys because of the law but, it sucked balls.
Can't you still find a hibachi anywhere to work this out the right way? Otherwise you will have to over season your food before burger kinging it.

When grilling on high heat most of the smoke on charcoal is from the fat dripping on the coals. You can get similar results from a gas grill on the drip plates. Grilling is all about the temperature. The hotter the better to get the sear. Gas is just as good as charcoal at this. i used to think that was BS. Then I got a gas grill that can heat up to 800 degrees and the steaks coming off that grill are every bit as good as any I made on charcoal.
Now any kind of Smoking or low heat cooking is another story all together.

Been asking around about this.... I learned that the armadillo population has exploded the past few years in the state, but that they're way to stupid to pull off a job like this. The most convincing theory was that it's a rat. But not just one. Apparently they work in squads with a lead rat coordinating the highly technical maneuvers and everything.
I don't mind whatever it is cleaning out the nasty grease trap for me, but why not put it back when they're done? I mean, come on.

I actually do this sometimes. Especially if it's a real quality steak.
Heat up your cast iron skillet as hot as possible, then quickly sear both sides.....then slap some butter on it and throw it in the oven for just a few minutes.
Maybe crumble some blue cheese on top if you have any. When it's done.
Try it. You'll see. Beats the shite out of over-cooking/ruining a steak on a grill or smoker or wood fire or anything else..

This is how most high end steak houses cook their steaks anyway. I don't know why so many people balk at this method.

That is how some of the best steak houses cook steaks
It's all about the high heat and sear IMO
My grill has a sear burner and then after getting the sear I move them to the top rack for a few minutes
