can we as a fan base all agree to not take too much away from the spring game? It's completely meaningless and no conclusions should be made from individual performances.

Of course there will be window lickers that will chime in but can the respectable posters take today with a major grain of salt?

Nobody ever does. Maybe they do their first time following it but they stop when they're let down the next year.

Turman will pass Chubb in the depth chart.

Sam Vaughn will pass Park, Ramsey, and Bauta.

I'm just excited to watch some Dawg football again and to see how the QBs perform with all the hype around that position this year.

Absolutely not! The ROWK will absolutely dominate the 35th stringers on D and everyone will say he needs more carries next season. JPark will look good against the 3's while Bauta and BR look pedestrian against the 1's and 2's, and everyone will be outraged that he isn't the day one starter.

Josh Dawson or J Deloach will have 15 sacks and be anointed the second coming of Clowney.

Any number of underdogs or underachievers will make a play or two and those who think they aren't getting a fair shake will say they should get more playing time.

The Spring game is less meaningful when you have a designating starting QB as we did with Murray and Mason. And while Ramsey seems to be the leader by virtue of game experience, the 3 potential starters are much more even in terms of opportunity than has been the case for the last 5 years. In that regard alone, it should make the outcome of this year's Spring game more interesting.

It means less than the other 2 scrimmages that they have in the spring
