Richt needed to be fired the day after OK beat FSU 13-2. He took a balanced FSU offense that was just as capable at smash mouth football as it was at finesse passing and trick plays in the 1980s and turned it into a chuck and duck team that liked running 170 pound backs off tackle. Warrick Dunn anyone?

Then he came to UGA to call his own plays. He won with Donut's players and Van Gorder's fire. He blew a national title in 2002 by taking Greene out of the FL game when he was 6-6 in passing so his pet Shockley could toss a pick six. He never could manage the clock, hire a decent assistant (other than BVG and Pruitt) or maintain passion and effort. Who remembers Tyson Browning getting stuffed in the middle about 100 times? That ACC shite didn't work in Athens but he was too dumb to stop running those plays.

After 6 or 7 years he quits calling plays and hands off to equally incapable Booboo. All the disneys that had bitched about CMR playcalling started whining that CMR should be calling plays again.

He needed psychological help for his QB handling. Scarred for life because of riding the bench behind Jim Kelly at Miami, he would start an average 5th year QB for one year because "he had paid his dues" while letting a talented young QB ride the bench. He could not judge talent........Moreno redshirted?

Great guy? Hell yes. I am not fit to stand in his shadow. Greaat coach? Hell no. Not even average. Great talent and two decent coordinators, and I am not even going to bring up winning percentage against ranked opponents since 2008.

Hell they even skipped the entire two a day period one August to watch film. It took until mid-October for the defense to remember how to tackle after that fiasco.

Now half of you are whining about the AD, and not one of you can bring any argument to the table to suggest that future success would be imminent without change. Most of you just want to take the kids to Orlando every January and play the #4 Big 10 bowl pick.

And please stop worshipping high school boys. You cause me to exercise great restraint to avoid priest jokes with your boy lust. We will lose recruits.....we will gain recruits. CMR won the SEC (while blowing a MNC) in his second year. How many recruits had left when Donut was fired? How long does it take a Saban or Meyer to turn around program?

Of course, CMR recruited an entire OL every fourth year, and I really do not know if the current group is all set to exhaust eligibility so that we can start redshirts next eyar or not. I really gave up being held hostage on Saturdays by mediocrity a couple of years ago.

Finally, which one of you will stand up and say you should keep your job becausse you are a good guy?

Now where's the weevil?

SOLID...

Not a thing in that post that ain't the gospel....

For at least the first half of Richt's career we recruited tailbacks that would act a fool against 160 pound defensive linemen in the ACC.....

frickwad missed on Moreno almost completely.....

frickwad recruited Cam Newton as tight end and that motherfricker ain't nothing but a gamer and future NFL hall of famer at QB....

We aint never had a championship caliber offensive line

Finally, and this is the biggest nail in the coffin...there is no way, none....no matter how talented we might be, that Mark Richt wins the SEC Championship game against a quality opponent, in 4 weeks beats a VERY HIGH QUALITY opponent in a bowl game and then Beat an even higher caliber opponent in the National title game. You are talking about being prepared for 180 minutes of football against teams that are able to beat anyone at any time....that is the world of college football today and there is little doubt that sooner rather than later there will be another 60 minutes stretch against a very good team in the mix....it ain't happening for Mark Richt who cant get a team prepared to show up against a bitter rival after a bye week. Had Richt stayed at UGA 2012 is as close as we would have ever been,....

For every positive that Mark Richt brings to the table there are a couple of 3 or 4 negatives....the only thing that is pretty about Mark Richt is he is a known quality and folks are scared of change....

AGain, I don't care of the next 20 years involves 6 coaches with records as bad as Ray Goff....it was time to make a change....the game has changed and we better dam well be ready to change with it if we mean to be relevant. It is a great time to be a Georgia Bulldog....

Keep hiring and firing til some a-hole wins the SEC by his 3rd year......and not when Bama is down, like Dooley and CMR always did.

People will whine about the changes, but Bama went through a few to get to Saban. Throw $4 million a year on the table and that fiery young future Saban making $500k at a small school will not care about the three guys before him that got fired after 9 win seasons. Trick is to find the guy......just keep hiring em all til you get it right. We have a 35 year drought going.

Just please stay awaay from coaches with big chins!

Why? If the southside of the stadium old guard whine and cheese crowd keeps the checkbooks open because they feel a coach should be "given more time", and because the grandkids really love Busch Gardens, we will miss out.

leg... When I have a whore suck me off, I usually ask her to play with my balls with one hand and stroke the shaft with the other. Not telling you what to do, but you may want to ask CHD if he likes it that way... May set you apart from the others and make you special.
