Today's stat made me smile.

The Browns received 5 picks for Julio Jones trade with Atlanta.

None of those five human beings are still with the Browns!

And yet we have posters who believe that was the worst trade in franchise history.

Def. Part of the reason I made the post.

Other part, major lol at the Browns.

I'm not saying it was a bad trade, but just because we "won" the trade doesn't mean it wasn't bad for the Falcons as well. It was just better than the Browns which isn't saying much.

If our benchmark is beating the Browns in drafting, we've lost already

Julio is the best WR I've ever seen in a Falcons jersey. Also, he's a major reason this offense is good enough to have us thinking this could be a playoff team.

Without Julio, we would be the Browns on offense with a much, much better QB and a much worse offensive line. Their offense is extremely painful to watch because they don't have a guy who can blow the top off of a cheating defense, and they don't have a WR who can consistently win one on one matchups. They don't have that because he wears #11 for the Falcons.

Julio is a special player.

Yes we gave a lot, but I'm with VA on this. It's not like we drafted just another WR. We drafted someone you can argue is the best in the league at his position.

I agree. I like Julio. I was just stating that just because the Browns are terrible at drafting doesn't automatically nullify the argument that Julio was a smart trade or not. Both teams could have won or lost, its just a way from some to justify the trade

Of those 5...only 1 even remains in the league

The Browns are terrible.

Even worse, that one is Brandon Weeden, who might be the worst NFL QB I've ever seen.
