That's the toughest Dawg team I've seen in a while! We have a coach, qb, rb, and defense. Maurice Smith played a he'll of a game.
I see that there are some pretty lame posters coming out of the wood work on this board though.

Just rewatched the game. We are a much better team then showed. Lots of stupid shite and the holding that wasn't called was the reason for at least two of their scores. Eason needs every snap and the game needs planned around that with more passing to keep them from stacking the box on us. We almost have too many weapons probably makes it hard to choose what play and to who LOL!!!

Was UNC's OL that good or our DL not as good as we'd hoped? UNC QB had all day in the pocket. Also, seemed their Corners were pretty good. Have to give them credit. UNC is an improved defense. Will be interesting to see how they do the rest of the season going forward so we can see just how we really stacked up. I figured we'd be in their backfield more than we were.

Had to check in. So refreshing seeing a new coach actually get the MOST out of his players last night. Were we perfect? No. Are we better than last year? Yes.

Just watching the game again. Refs missed an obvious block in the back on their kick return. Their number 36 blocks our 41 in the back right in front of the runner. Oh well. We still won!!

I think the defense was in contain most of the game.

That was a Gene Chizik defense. The man sucks as a HC but he can put together a pretty good defense.

I'm happy about it. UNC was a solid opponent and well coached (mostly). 
I think we scored in each quarter which is much improved.
Anyone know of anything to be looking out for from the Nicholls State team coming in next week?

UNC did in fact do a lot of holding. They finally called it at the end of the game. 52 especiallly

Did we get any turnovers? I hope this picks up as I know we practice knocking the ball loose.
