Probably. But he is still better than Lambert an is ranked about 7th in the SEC QB's. About average.

He is well behind Lambert is passer rating.

We lost ONE WR. One that was injured his first three years here. While it is a weak spot, it is hardly a bare cupboard.

He only had 2nd the most receptions in UGA single season history last year. Huge loss, and no one has replaced him. In fact, the drops have been very costly

But that's the whole point. it's not.

It is at DB and WR and OT.

It's not the right move, if you go from averaging 10 wins a year to 6 wins a year. Maybe you enjoy losing to Vanderbilt.

Exactly, Mark Richt should have been fired after 2010. He was 8-5 in 2009, 6-7 in 2010 and had losses to Colorado, UCF and Kentucky during that time frame.

The only problem with getting rid of him is that we waited many years too late.

And Lambert was told not to throw interceptions. I know you are not arguing that Lambert is a better QB, or we would be doing better with Lambert as our QB.

The drops have been very costly. No argument. however, McKenzie, going into last weeks game was on pace to get ALMOST as many yards receiving as Mitchell did last year. Mitchell was great, but we couldn't get the ball to him.

At DB, maybe. but we have the same guys we had last year. They should be better with good coaching, should they not? The difference is Pruitt ran schemes that protected the DB's, and apparently Tucker is not. Maybe he should. Again. Coaching.

In fairness...I made the last statement based on what another poster said he saw Pruitt say. I didn't see it, and can't definitively back it up. However, we are facing one QB different from last year, so I don't think that accounts for the DB's looking so much worse than last year. It gives a little credence to that theory.

He won less than 8 games exactly once in his time at Georgia. Once.

If we didn't have the season we did in 2011 he was going to be fired FWIW.

Probably a pretty standard instruction to most quarterbacks. "Go out there and throw some interceptions" isn't really a sound strategy.

Obviously a coach never tells his QB to throw interceptions. But they will tell them to take some chances and make things happen with their arms.

Then, you will have them stress to the QB that they have to protect the football, and not to take any chances at all. (Which is what I was saying in regards to Lambert) You knew this, right? Please tell me you knew this.

Solid. I see some familiar faces being just as stupid then as they are now. Some things don’t change.

I’m all in on Kirby. That said, I can think of nothing that screams “I feel bad about who I am and need some attention, even if it’s bad.” more than bumping a 2 year old thread in a tiny, trashy (for the most part),corner of the entire internet universe. Seek a pastor to talk to and look at the bright side; short of dying and going to Heel, your life can only improve.

I appreciate the bump. It interesting to go back and see who was on target and who was wrong. I never before posted in this thread because it seemed too early to judge.

The date would indicate this thread was immediately after losing at home to Vanderbilt.

Give credit where credit use due.

At least this loser quit then. And not after barely losing an SEC championship game like other pathetic loser quitters immediately did.

So the 2016 Oline that sucked has

Catalina- 2nd year in NFL
Pyke- 2nd year in NFL
Wynn- 1st year in NFL and first round pick
Kublanow- was on Ravens... not sure if still on roster

Plus a few players on the team this year that are draft prospects.

Pretty clear the issue wasn’t a lack of talent. Looks more like growing pains looking back.
