Kirby in a foul mood in practice this week...

Per AJC, Kirby's been particularly angry this week in practice...really laying into guys. Some funny quotes in AJC.
Obviously he's not too thrilled about some of the negatives he's seen the last two games but I'm kind of wondering if he's realizing that stopping Chad Kelly could be a lost cause this weekend, without monumental improvement.
At least we know that Kirby hates the idea of losing...and shows it.

He just needs to learn that there are more important things than football.

Only quote I read was Kirby screaming at Mecole: "And you ask me why you don't play?!" during DB drills.

Lord Jesus, I laughed so much when I read this, earlier today.

He needs to call richt and get counsel. 7 - 5, 8 - 4 and a bowl game of some sort are fine seasons and are to be proud of.

Honestly, Kirby has been acting like he's in over his head for some time now. Been pretty thin skinned about a ton of shite. He has a lot of growing up to do as a coach.

How do you figure this?

If acting like over your head is being 3-0, then sign me up

I'll preface this with saying I think he's done a great job to get us to 3-0 and will only get better the longer he gets here.
But:
He's been incredibly thin skinned and defensive about everything since the season began, including almost losing to ducking Nichols State. "We're young, this team has no leadership," bla fricking bla. That's some Butch Jones level excuse making.
This story only supports it. So the players are performing poorly and you act like an a-hole? Really? If the players are performing badly, that's on you and you need to fix it.

Are your initials MR or CT?

Maybe acting like an a-hole is how you fix it?
I'm no coach but is he supposed to fix it by being extra nice?
What's a drill instructor do when recruits f#$k up? Act like an a-hole. At least that's part of it...
Though I will admit: Almost losing to Nichols State had to be partly on the coaches. They sure as heck didn't have the team motivated to go out there and get the kind of blow-out victory we should have been capable of getting (from a talent standpoint).

Thered a difference between being a hardass and an a-hole. Being a hardass instills discipline. Being an a-hole is worthless. I am a huge fan of discipline.
But that's neither here nor there. The reason why I brought it up is its kinda obvious that Kirby has obviously not been pleased in how the practices are going and it's obviously affecting how we are starting our games. It's worrying that this is his way to try to fix it.

Hopefully the players are not pussies like you. They need to have their asses chewed out for the last two weeks. Especially the o-line and secondary.

You do know Richt averaged 10 wins a year, right?
Revisionist history?
I believe you just told a whopper.
