Here are my thoughts:

Najee Harris - MAY be the stud everyone is making him out to be but looks more like a receiver body at this point, and he looks great stiff-arming and shoving down 5'9 160 lb white kids...Ill be interested to see how well that works against top-tier college LBs. Overall, Im not as impressed with him as I should be with the #1 RB prospect in the nation. I could be wrong but I could easily seem him getting hit in the mustache a couple of times early and thinking fondly about the good ole running over little white kids days back in HS.

Cam Akers - Good speed, balance, power and is pretty shifty. The only think that concerns me with him is that it looks like he played primarily at QB in HS and there is a difference in taking the snap directly and running with the ball, and having to start from 7 yards deep and taking a handoff. Hopefully, he translates well and I hope we get him.

D'Andre Swift - Good all around back, has a lot of the same qualities I saw in Akers, but seems to have an extra gear in open field. He seems to really really favor his right side though in the videos I watched - still, hope we get him.

Toneil Carter - Like the kid...hard runner, not terribly shifty but breaks some tackles. Doesnt have homerun speed or at least doesnt seem to get into clean air often enough to see exactly how fast he might be. I wont be disappointed if we get him...wont be disappointed if we miss on him either.

Agrees and Disagrees are welcome. Maybe some of you see things I dont.

Cam Akers is my favorite of the group. I'm not concerned that he's mostly played quarterback. He's reputedly something like Robert Edwards...just a fantastic athlete who could be molded into a star safety as easily as a star running back. His high school's offense has him taking deep handoffs some of the time, by the way. They've used him in many different ways.

Toneil Carter is probably the best all around running back in Texas this year. That says a lot. I would be happy to see him sign with UGA.

Swift is the speedster with a pretty compact build and low center of gravity. I saw him listed at about 5-9 though, which is fine if he's the next Barry Sanders. (Okay...I know...Swift isn't that short).

As for Harris, I like the idea of the really big, tall running backs like Derrick Henry, but most 6-3 tailbacks don't work out quite as well as Henry did! I guess we'll see with the one we currently have (Crowder). I don't know enough about Harris to know the competition level he faced in California. I guess so much depends on where in the state he plays.

I love Carter and Swift. I really haven't looked closely at Harris since he is committed to Alabama. I didn't figure he was going to decommit, so I haven't wasted my time looking at him. Akers? Meh. Same as you. Took a lot of snaps out of wildcat, or as QB, so while he looked good wasn't overly enthralled.
