Kudos for going but I'm not getting on a plane without some game tickets in my hand. Have fun though!

$899 on stubhub right now...it won't go down either. Can't even get flights up there anymore. Friends that work for Delta say it's the busiest travel weekend into Chicago in 5-6 years.

I got my plane ticket for $359 round trip - Bhm to Chi - nonstop flights as well (booked on expedia)
Atl to Chi looked to be around the same pricing - that is flying in Thursday AM & home on Sunday
stub hub is OK - but this site is better - LINK
no hidden fees - shows the actual total before you order - the price is the same as stubhub; but you know the total going in
no way are these tix gonna be $800 Plus on game day
and if they are, my brother & I watch in a bar in South Bend
it's worth it to go up just to party with UGA baws in Chi Town & South Bend
My brother emailed me the UGA sponsored itinerary - Cubs game, several parties where UGA clubs will be
I am excited about the trip with or without a ticket

I'm also doing Thurs-Sunday. The only thing I'm still not 100% confirmed on is a ride from CHI to South Bend. I have a 12 passenger van reserved but several in my group have dropped out the last 2 weeks so I may need to start looking at SUVs instead.

If Notre Dame can find a way to lose week 1, the tickets will drop sharply. Either way, I don't see them getting anymore expensive. I live three hours drive from souyth bend and rented a house a mile feom the stadium for the weekend. Im still looking for tix though

Do we know kickoff time?
7:30 eastern on the schedule, so probably more like 7:45.

We just bought our tickets for the Corey Smith concert Friday night in Chicago. Only $20. Amazing sports weekend in Chicago just got better. Athens representing. Dooley throwing out the first pitch at the Cubs game a Friday afternoon.

The South Shore train runs from Chicago to South Bend airport. You can take an Uber to the game from there. The train runs late on event night but check to be safe.
Thursday to Monday
Cubs, Dawgs, Falcons
Reserved a Class A. I hope I can drive it.

Booked round trip to Chicago last night. Friday-Monday from dallas was $200 even. It was so cheap I pulled the trigger and will work the rest out later. I have some good friends who were already making the trip so I'll tag along and figure out my ticket situation. Only hiccup is it sounds like the tailgate they'd be going to is restricted so I'll need to work on that.
