Making mincemeat of Augusta National.

Looks like history will be made at the Masters today.

No, that's not it... it's a general overall malaise by the top 6-8 or so. it's like they gave up before they tee'd off.

Low numbers just werent out there today. Low round was -6. That wasnt enough for anybody out there to beat him today.

it just felt different this year, can't put my finger on it... i did; however, tear up once again (as i do every year) when the winner puts on the green jacket. there's nothing like it in all of sports.

not really. Plenty of people in Georgia don't care about the Masters unless they're going.

Can there be a third category of people who enjoy the masters, look forward to it each spring, but don't speak of it like the second coming of Christ? That'd be my category.

you Atlantans and your desperate desire to be relevant on the national level, when in fact you're just an oversized version of St. Louis. TBBH, you're truly just jealous of the fact that the "tradition unlike any other" happens to be in Georgia, but it's not in Atlanta.

what the hell does this even mean? Try to be relevant in what regard?

couldn't be more inaccurate but ok

I sure am glad we have you to speak for an entire city. I don't know about the others, but I'm proud as hell that the masters is in Georgia. I don't really GAS what city it's in. And let's not kid ourselves into thinking that Augusta is anything worth a damn outside of augusta national.

No dammit, no.

You either have to whisper its name to protect the sanctity and prestige that comes by speaking it, or you're an Atlantan that desperately wishes to be relevant (in an as yet unnamed category) nationally.

I'm an Atlantan in cincinnati right now. I love the shite out of the masters and don't care what city it's in. Happy for Augusta.

I work for the Reds and at the game today, we were talking about the masters and I was talking a bit about Georgia/Augusta and 4 different people literally asked what was in Georgia besides Atlanta. Just saying.

Well, it's on this side of the South Carolina state line, so it has that going for it.
