I'm glad we haven't had a thousand threads on this board for this topic. It's been beaten to death by every media outlet and I'm completely tired of it.

Bottom line: Kap has every right not to stand for the anthem. We hold every right to call him an idiot for doing so.

It's a free country. Kapernick can stupidly protest anyway he wants.

I'm not a patriotic flag-waving kind of guy, but I've got to admit, the U.S. is a pretty nice place to live. There are plenty of places in the world that would put Kapernick in prison for what he did.

His protest isn't nearly as stupid as the ugly ridiculous tattoos that cover his body. What is it with young people and tattoos these days. Tattoos do not belong on yuppies.
