Nobody is running on us. Notre Dame is a damn good rushing team with a better OL than Bama and we only gave up 56 rushing yards. This ND run game is destroying everyone else. ND is rolling right now. Might be a playoff team

So we could beat Bama in sec champ game, then have to play notre dame again in playoffs then play Bama again for National champship.

Ha,ha. Playoff zombies ruined college football.

On the ND thing though yeah, they’ve got over 100 yards rushing in first 8 minutes already.

eeehhhhhh I don't think that would happen.

If we beat bama in SECCG we're clearly in (barring a few regular season losses). Big 10 champ (wisc or osu or psu) is in. A 1-loss acc champ clemson (that's probably likely right?) is in, as would likely be a big 12 champ (tcu/ou/osu). I just don't see how ND fits unless some of those other teams have 2 losses. Of course, ND is ND so I'm sure the media would push for them but who knows about the committee.

Honestly wouldn't be upset if they made the playoffs if we win out and win the SECCG. Their only loss would be an undefeated SEC champion. Better wins than all of the other champions, and the best loss

I just hate the thought of having to beat a team we've already beat. Granted I think we're a good bit better than ND so I wouldn't necessarily be "scared" of a rematch, I just don't like the premise.

Media gonna be all-in on ND if they win this game.

They will try to frick us if it comes down to us and ND for a playoff spot.

ClemPson will lose again and the ACC will be left out most likely.

I think the Big 12 gets left out if TCU loses. That conference has been garbage

If we both have 1 loss, we are in 100% no questions asked. If we have 2 losses and they have 1..they'd probably deserve it over us.

Yeah the playoff committee would be rigged putting a 1 loss ND team in over a 1 loss UGA team. We beat them on the road with a freshman making his first career start

that literally isn't possible. Like at all. When the time comes for their selections we would have just beaten undefeated and #1 bama and would be champions of a conference. ND may or may not make the playoff, idk, but I can absolutely guarantee assure you that if they were deciding on a 1 loss UGA or a 1 loss ND there would be absolutely no question that it would be us. Without question.

Winner of this game and OK state will be the favorite 1-loss teams in eyes of the media playoff industrial complex. Going forward.

God help any undefeated team that loses late in season with this system the playoff zombies got us.

we should be without a doubt, but it wont be that easy if it comes down to that scenario. Especially if our loss is to Bama.

They will say we beat them early in the year before they hit their stride, only a 1-point win, etc.

that's what I hate. If we go 12-0 and lose a tight one to bama in the SECCG, should that automatically eliminate us jsut bc we lost late and arent' a conference champ?

I could definitely see that happening. Losses late in the year count 100x more than losses early in the year.

ID. ND has SC, NC state, stanford, and miami still on schedule. that would be the best resume of any playoff contender. and the media loves Notre Dame
