I love it. Reverse the roles. Throw wonder boy in the fire with the obvious safety net.. and make him command the huddle and get the plays in.

Lots of other rookies will be getting much needed time too (if all goes as planned) so that may be part of what this is...
Give Eason another shot for the lights to come on under real pressure with the starters. Before "practice" begins sometime hopefully in the late 1st quarter

I meant it would be tough to start Lambert against Mizzou if we go to Eason now. But I get it.

it seems Kirby is taking this in a game by game basis...so that's cool. I trust him and Chaney to set the stage for our SEC push. Gonna be fun to watch.

Frankly, I think we need to have Eason starting before we get to Ole Miss. Lambert isn't going to win that game. This will help bring that to fruition.

I kinda wondered if they would do this. Let JE feel the pressure and energy of starting. Give him 3 series , then GL probably gets 2 and is done for the game, JE comes back till its out of control. Chubb gets his 100-200 then sits and BH and EH play the balance.
But I caution, this does not mean GL won't start Mizzou. He probably will.

Start the kid. Play the kid. He is already head and shoulders better then Lambert.
