Is Chubb back to 100% yet following the injury?

Stealing this discussion from recruiting thread because I think it's interesting and will affect his draft decision.
Personally, I think he is not up to his full speed yet. Seems to be missing his top gear both laterally and downfield.

I wouldn't even be commenting on this if not for my 12-year-old son watching his 2014 highlights the other night.
My heart says yes.
My eyes ,not even close.
That being said my hats off to the kid. It was a catastrophic injury and for him to be back playing is a true testament

He's an awesome player and human being. Could be my own wishful thinking but I would love to see him come back.

Regarding the 2016 NFL Draft, I read (can't remember which website)that Chubb might be a second round pick.

he's definitely a day 2 pick. but I am not sure about 2nd round
He'll have to be a combine stud

He doesn't look like it. He looks faster than he did early in the season but he's not there yet. He's done a phenomenal job coming back though.

Yea coming back from that injury as fast as he did is unreal.
Whether he is 100% or not, I don't see any way he comes back. It will likely be a patchwork offensive line again next year and he needs to get paid while he can. I don't see how even an exceptional year next year would push him into the first round, especially not early first round. Not worth returning in my opinion.

You sound like the voice of reason TM. Rings true.

No but it's amazing that he has come back as much as he has.

I honestly think giving him 32 carries his first game back was a mistake. He never looked the same again after that. He looked slow and tired after that for a couple of months. Heck, I think Michel has been the better back in a number of games. They should have eased Chubb back into things instead of giving him such a huge number of carries his first game back.

No, I don't think he is.

Disagree. He took a bad hit behind the line vs Nichols. That was the moment of change.

I agree he did hurt his ankle and has not been the same since.

Yeah I agree...I didn't really notice it until they'd put Michel in the game. His burst was on another level than Chubb's. Looking back at old highlights from the last two years, and it's clear that Chubb has lost a step.
Even if that's the case, he has got to leave Athens and give the NFL a go. You only have so much time to be productive in the NFL at the running back position. The scouts will look at his whole body of work, and decide if he'll get back to his old self. You have to keep in mind how recent the injury was. One more year of college to "get back to what he once was" will happen a lot more faster under the umbrella of an NFL team.
He was a DGD, and i'm honored he chose Athens as his home for a few years.

Chubb is amazing. After watching freshman Chubb run for his first touchdown with one shoe we knew that he was great? Then the team went to Mizzou without Gurley and Big Dawg Chubb ate his full.
