Interesting sidebar to GA Fla McElwain vs Smart

They coached together in Alabama 2008-2011. Any advantage to either coach since they've seen the other operate?

I'd say big advantage McElwain, because:

A) he has head coaching experience and has been reasonably successful at it,

B) he was actually in charge of the offense at Alabama, whereas Smart was an underling running around relaying Saban's defensive plan to everyone else,

C) he has seen Kirby operate at UGA and knows how badly coached this team is.
