At the QB position, I think they'll be in serious playoff contention. Talent on this team is as high as it has been in years. Go Dawgs!

Someone from the WR group has to step up. I haven't heard from Reggie Davis since Aaron Murray threw that bomb. But yes I agree with the OP

No brainer... I think the "D" will be awesome this year...

The UA/UT games will define our season IMO...

Still a little nervous about our run defense.

Considering UGA has inked nothing but top DT and LB talent in the last 4 years, why come?

Go to ESPN and look at duh DT Stars and rankings.

We need corching and not faking moronic offense qualls

We'll still lose at least twice. Florida and GT had no fear of getting beat downfield and got good enough DL play to contain the running game. This offense is at its best when we are running downhill from the I and getting big plays in play action out of that to go along with an effective short passing game. We had 2/3 last year.

I thought Bobo did a phenomenal job of adjusting his play calling to work around Mason's lack of arm strength. I would love for Ramsey to be as efficient as Mason while scaring teams downfield, but we'll probably have to wait on Eason before we see that from a QB.

bullshite. Their offenses ran right through our defense. That's what lost us those games.

That didn't help at all, but our offense was also abysmal in both games.

I'll give you this- Muschamp and the gators dialed up some pretty good defense against us.

But what stands out in my mind from that FL game was them running all over us like they had 3 Todd Gurley's. It made me understand how other teams felt having to play us.

In the GT game, our offense was inconsistent, but overall effective. Our defense was just getting shithammered by the triple option.

Just like Chrisopher said they would...

This OC will definitely use the TEs more

Was Bobo known for neglecting his tight ends?

I recall entire games where Orson Charles' name was never called. Same with Arthur Lynch, though not as frequently absent as OC7.

As am I. I am a Pruitt acolyte but I can't foresee them fixing it all so quickly. Great pass rush, yea. Improved and pretty damn good secondary, I'd say I am disney. Run defense? Can't see that one being foolproof. Too many games they were meh against the run and then the three losses they were atrocious.

I never thought Artie was THAT great but I think they got decent production for him. As for Orson Charles, I have come to think he wasn't as good as we all believed. I believe his pro career to this point kind of indicates that to a degree. He just didn't get open as much as he should have IIRC.

That's a fair enough counterpoint to the TE situation. I never thought of it that way.

Here's hoping Kiffin goes full retard like he did against OSU and abandons his running game when it's gashing the defense for 6 yards a carry.

Fumbles lost the GT game. Constant holding by UF with biased refs lost the UF game. Coaching only cost us against USCe. And even then the poor call by a red made the difference. Tho it should not have mattered

No. It didn't. Lack of focus and/or preparation lost us that game.
