I'd imagine so considering Pruitt worked under him and Saban at Alabama

You guys are dreaming, outside CJP being hired as head coach , he's gone!

Why in the world would you stay!

Because it looks bad to jump around too often. His next gig should be HC. Until that offer comes he is in the best place to shine.

Best case scenario: We keep Pruitt with a Herman hire.

Smart and Pruitt might clash heads, IMO. But Herman is an offensive guy, and the transition might be smoother with him.

Why would he stay to be the DC for a job he didn't get a shot at. He IS NOT STAYING!

I Guarantee it!

They let him find out today at a recruits house , with no warning. He's the DC, don't you think if the cared about retaining him, or his opinion. There might have been a call, a heads up, something.

And his buyout is 125,000 till Jan 1 and then 100,000, that's not that big of a deal.

I truly feel like there will be a complete re-build with the new coach and your current top assistants are all out or leaving.
