If Georgia beats Florida, I will never post on Dawg Rant Again

I know...a win-win. Right?
I know many folks on this board hate me. I don't really understand why. It seems as if lots of people have a stick up their gluteus maximus simply because I have an opinion. It's not like I'm holding a gun to their head and forcing them to read my posts.
If Georgia can beat Florida, it will mean everything I've been posting here since the Vanderbilt game would have been wrong. It will mean the coaching staff is not a disgrace, and Kirby Smart doesn't need to be fired.
So I'm willing to self ban in that case. Also, it's kind of a penance. I'm willing to give up something I like in order to restore my faith in Georgia. Like lent. I sincerely hope this is the last thread I ever start here.
I'm sure Florida is going to beat Georgia. It probably will be one-sided, but it may be close...but I just can't imagine Georgia winning.
Georgia has more talent than Florida, but it's tough being a Dawg fan because they always seem to do less with more. The Gators block and tackle harder and execute better almost every year in this rivalry game. It's like the opposite of the Dooley years when Florida had more talent, but Georgia dominated the series. (See 1982: Georgia 44 Florida 0. LINK Florida put more players in the NFL then.)
If I can't post on Dawg rant any more, that will be ok with me...I'll just have more time to watch videos of Amanda Love and Siri on a website that rhymes with cornbub.
And a bonus: If Trump beats Clinton, I will never post on SEC rant or any of its off topic categories again. I have ban bets with some people there.

This is true. And I don't think it is your opinion so much as how you present it. Some of the threads got pretty outlandish with your statements. It's way too early to call for Smart to be fired.
Some overreacted to your threads because everybody had such high hopes for this season. Nobody thought we would win the East, even....but I think all of us thought we would see some improvement, and that has not been the case. It's been a frustrating year. Hopefully we will begin to see some improvement the second half and get renewed hope.
I hope you don't self ban, personally. I hate for anybody to leave....but I DO hope we beat Florida.
You might want to think of an idea to start a thread and then cut it in half. Take a lot of emotion out of it and realize in spite of all we had hoped it will take a little longer than we thought.

Perhaps but Florida apparently has more talent where it counts in the trenches and on defense in general. Florida's defense is ranked #3 in Total Defense. Their offense isn't nearly as good as their defense but it's still ranked higher than ours. And I would add that our recruiting rankings don't tell the whole story. What matters is the quality of the players who actually contribute in critical positions. Even a stud like Nick Chubb can't get critical yards when there's no running room.

No coach in his first year shoudl ever be fired after halfway through, or even at the end of 1 year unless it's clear that there is no hope for the future. Even if we lose to UF he shouldn't be fired. And you're an idiot to think otherwise.

Everyone on here should be pulling for Florida to win this game. It will not matter one bit if UGA wins this game, however, by Florida winning it will keep Tennessee out of the Championship game. I would pull for Florida to win 400 times vs EVER having Tennessee win anything. My hatred for Tennessee goes back decades, not just this year.Under normal circumstances I would never pull for Florida, but this is a definite case of the enemy of your enemy is our friend. Not a Gator fan, but need them to win out this year.
