Then CKS's first year will be almost identical to Saban's first year at Bama. 7 wins with 4 SEC loses. A CKS Dynasty lies ahead my fellow Dawgs

I hope you haven't looked at saban's early tenure as a head coach. Those were some....let's say lean years. Hopefully we dont' mirror that.

Its not about saban.. its about paying these players what they are worth, or watching them go to bama/Ohio st/auburn /olemiss/etc.

Bama had 37 4star and 10 5star recruits on campus in one weekend. They get who they want, regardless of depth chart, and its not for the scenery or women in ttown. Why would anyone want to leave Georgia/Florida/anywhere to go live in Tuscaloosa? A much bigger paycheck. And not this bs about going to the nfl, you can get drafted out of coastal Carolina ffs.

See the recruitment of R.Foster for an example made public. Its not just about a stipend or "the perks", its about child-care for their kids, brand new cars, and wads of cash

If I wanted th coach fired and knowing UGA losing a game would seal th deal, I would still want UGA to win. Some of us are just wired that way.

remember that time when two of our players got caught with weapons and drugs and somehow the charges got dropped and they didn't get suspended? Ya.... neither do I. That's the Bama difference.

Honestly? I don't think Kirby will go through a lot of lean years. I think we have seen the worst. I don't think his ceiling is as high as Saban's.....but I don't think he will have many, if any really bad years, either.

I guess my post wasn't clear enough. What I meant to say is....Go frick Yourself.

Our coach could be a 0-11 and no dawg fan would ever mutter the words "I hope we lose the bowl game"

Hmmmm...sounds an awful lot like somebody who used to coach here. Weren't we supposed to get to the "next level" with KS?

Those kids ain't going to Alabama to win national titles or learn under a guru....they are going because it is what is in their best interest....you would think playing time would be in their best interest BUT in a society where we yell at a microwave to cook a potato faster whats in their best interest is what they can get TODAY and to hell with tomorrow....anyone who thinks there is any difference in the "process" at Alabama than there is in Athens and that difference has to do with anything football related is naive beyond belief...the difference in processes is the difference in how boosters are willing to pony up the money for recruits and how they are able to keep it quite.

Seriously....we are all SEC fans so we have some insight into what college football means in the state of Alabama....it is all the state has going for it that separates it from Mississippi or South Carolina. Anyone who doesn't think that they have honed the skill of recruiting with money to a keen edge is simply childlike in their naivety....they are the same people who don't know that strip clubs and Asian massage parlors are fronts for whore houses...

All of that being said if we are not going to compete in the buying of recruits then we should simply play in another league, period. Our fanbase is even worse than the cheating deniers at Alabama....we are deluding ourselves into thinking we can cheat less and still compete and UGA Admins rake in the money and give you a product you wouldn't buy the second time around if it weren't for the emotions involved...we are like abused wives who simply get smacked around....Bama fans, abused wives also, get all the bling that goes with keeping time with a Playa....
