I second that. I live 2 hours from the nearest interstate and really pity those affected by this.

We don't need your pity. You chose the lifestyle you want and we chose ours. If we're both happy then who cares.

But for those on the north side of Atlanta wanting to get to the Dome, Phillips, or the Battery, etc., this is sweet news.

It's amazing what financial incentives will do. The original projection was middle on June, but now that a huge bonus is ripe for the taking...look, we found some concrete that will cure faster!

Side note: if there exists concrete that will cure 50(?)% faster...why is there any other concrete?

I would think cost. I can save money by waiting a bit? Let's do that.

Yes, price and the fact that it sets quickly makes it much more difficult to work with.

Meanwhile, when everyones done jerking to atlanta fixing a section of road in 7 weeks, check out this video from China of a 57 story building they built in 19 days..... LINK......

When you have 1/6 th of the worlds population you have the labor volume to make things possible. With the bodies in china, imagine how quicker they could have built the pyramids than the Egyptians with a much smaller labor pool.

That sucks. Taking back roads to get anywhere takes forever.

Population doesn't have anything to do with it.

You could quadruple the population of the United States tomorrow and it would do exactly jack shite about the regulations, rules, unions, red-tape, bullshite, and regulations, rules, and regulations and regulations and rules that would prevent something like that from ever being attempted here.

It also would do exactly jack shite about American students being basically retards on average when compared with Asian students in engineering/maths/sciences/etc.

Stop the presses.

Atlanta finally fixes a pothole.
Now if we can only fix the roof.

I can't disagree with anything that anyone has said here.

Except PNW. I disagree with him.
