Buddy of mine killed this buck Friday around lunch in Johnson County. I think GON may make it a cover shot next month.

He might make cover... It all depends on quality and if it fits and I don't think he could make next months that cover will be due in a few days but he could for the month after that featuring deer of the year in GA.
My dad's company I think is still in the process of buying out GON and if that happens the head editor there will be his boss.

They came down yesterday and took pics and did an interview . I guess we'll just wait n see?

Yea it could be on next month it just depends on their deadline. Dads was yesterday for covers. I hope your buddy gets it on the cover though I'm sure it will if they did pics and an interview.
