In the way of Hartman Fund, Tuition for yourself or your kids, not including Hope (because that's not your money), donations to academic departments, pretty much any check you write to UGA.

Just curious.

I'm at a little over $17,000/yr.

Can anyone here beat me?

Our trust is kind of hard to quantify by a yearly sum, but it equates to $50k a year, but that is the G Fund. We also give to several of the schools directly and I am back to giving to the Hartman and I also made one to the Basketball Endowment Fund this year. I also have one kid there now.

Y'all should give directly to the Basketball enhancement fund this year. Even if it is $50... Just to show your support of the progress.

It varies depending on how much coin I make. Not as much the last 3 years as I have a state job.

As to the exact amount I'm currently giving and/or total amount I've given -- nunya bitness.

My oldest just graduated from a NE school. They got $60k a year from me. A lot of her classmates are gonna have $400k in debt by the time they finish grad school.

This. I give to both the Georgia Fund and to SPIA, but I always balk at giving to the Hartman Fund. The Athletic Dept makes plenty of money and, as much as I love UGA athletics, I prefer to give my money to the University.

The last couple of years I have been very torn. If I take a current job opportunity that has presented itself, then I will be making substantially more than I am currently so I will be able to give to the Hartman Fund as well as maintain my current level of giving to the University.

Donate to the Hartman each year and have since early 90's and the little girl (9) gives $25 to the gymnastics team when she renews her gymkids membership each year.

Good idea on basketball PB.
