Watson is the only one I think we screwed up on.

The other guys (minus Hyatt who was a CU legacy) just wanted to play at Bama, despite our best efforts.

Define "lose out". Bc if you're including Hyatt then I'm curious on what your angle is.

This. Not much we could've done with the rest that we didn't already do. Evans and Foster weren't going to leave the state, Tomlinson just flat out liked Bama more, Hyatt was never going anywhere other than Clemson

Eh. Nobody really recruited Gallman and, IIRC, we were doing pretty alirght with RB recruiting otherwise

Ben Boulware was between UGA and Clemson. I think we pursued Scarborough but I don't know how much interest he really had in us.

I'm just curious who we recruited and lost out to Clemson and Bama. No angle. And I know about Hyatt and the like. Just wondering.

Boulware was from Anderson SC (Hanna) and his brother already was playing baseball for Clemson. We offered first but once they did it was over.

The guy we lost out on was the OG Crowder. We took the kid from Bufordu (josh cordially) who lasted a year the transferred to UTC

I just don't understand the allure of Clemson. Bama, sure, they're a machine. But Clemson? God that place blows.

The kids I know that visited all loved Dabo. The fan base is rabid like the SEC and it's a decent place close to home for many. If Dabo wins a Natty he will be pretty scary imho
