How do we stack up against Penn State?

It's understandable that no one is interested in this game, but even if we are being coached by a makeshift staff of Tight End coaches and 24 year olds, it's still a UGA football game, against James Franklin nonetheless, and 10 wins would be great.
I haven't watched any Penn State this season. I know that their QB Hackenburg was the #1 QB recruit in the nation a few years ago, but that's about it. Anyone who's seen them play want to chime in?

from what I understand CH has potential but hasn't really lived up to it much. I believe they have a 1,000 yard rusher this year, but aside from those 2 I don't know a thing. They went 7-5 in the big 10. Looking at their schedule, all 5 losses could be considered "good losses", I suppose, and they have zero noteworthy wins. Looks like they beat who they were supposed to and lost to who they were supposed to.

They must not be very good if UGA is a touchdown favorite without coaches.

I only saw them twice, Temple and tOSU. They aren't a very good team but neither are we. They have all of their coaching staff preparing, we have what's left after the house cleaning. I would say they have the advantage but a Georgia win wouldn't be very surprising either.
I know. I went out on a limb with that prediction.

Hack is still a good qb but they've never had decent WRs and their OL has been putrid. I mean horrible. Our OL is pathetic but those guys...wow.
I think we'll lose but we're both kinda equally mediocre

Surprisingly well: LINK
Scoring Offense: UGA 84th Penn St. 101th
Scoring Defense: UGA 9th Penn St. 30th
Seem like 2 similar teams with good defense but weak offense.

really liking our D vs their O. I hope kimbrough plays.

We'd be fine with Natrez/Roquan replacing Kimbrough if he can't go for whatever reason.
Since Kimbrough isn't injured is it safe to assume its grades?

This will be a hung over January 2nd game for sure!

We don't have coaches but we don't have schotty as part of that. I call it a wash.

one would think, being this time of year. One of the players (ganus maybe?) said he wasn't allowed to say, so apparently the players know what's up. The fact that he hasn't even been at practice doesn't look good, probably have to assume grades or drugs.

Oh well. We get Reggie Carter back next season anyway

Hackenberg is a reflection of Franklin's coaching ability, IMO. Superstar hotshot recruit, looked great as a true freshman, O'Brien leaves for Houston and Hackenberg's college career goes down the shitter. Dude is incredibly talented but has badly regressed under Franklin.
And it doesn't help that their offensive line gets blown up every week. 11 sacks allowed against Temple, a few of them on 2 or 3 man rushes (and not coverage sacks, their linemen got whipped by a 2 man rush).
Basically, it depends if Georgia is motivated and trying.

Couldn't the same be said about Alabama? Except they lost to Ole Miss.
Or how about LSU? Who did they beat that they were supposed to lose to?
People throw that same thing out as if it is a horrible, horrible thing. But very few teams come up with legitimate upsets when it is all said and done.
I guess Ole Miss go their upset against Alabama.
The problem is we got beat by teams we should have beaten.

...except we've lost to SC 4 out of the last 6 years...and FL last year when they were so bad they fired their coach...and GT last year too.
And I'm giving TN the benefit of the doubt...

We get to watch Carl Nassib run by John Theus for four quarters.
