Have we ever been this deep at good TB's?

Chubb
Michel
Herrien
Holyfield
Swift

Now that Holyfield is a return guy, who makes the biggest impact Sat?

I think Michel's due for a breakout game both rushing and receiving.

That was a pretty damned stacked backfield...I had forgotten about Ware...that's how stacked that group was. Can't even remember his first name, but wasn't Ware out of Texas or Arkansas? Somewhere like that.

We need to get Swift the ball more.

Was at the GA/FL game in '85 when Worley and Henderson gashed #1 UF with some long TD runs for a 24-3 win. They had about 250 yds between them.

We've had some good backfields.

That's right, Larry Ware. And now you say Montgomery, that sounds more right in my head. Not sure where Texas or Arkansas came from. Did UGA have a highly recruited RB from one of those states at the later end of that timeframe?

That game was sheer enjoyment.

Rodney Hampton and Alphonso Ellis were both from Texas if I recall.

Maybe we can use him the way we should have been using Michel all along. He would be a stud in the Reggie Bush USC role.

I'll take the 5 posted in OP.

Mainly because your bottom 2, while solid, would be 6 and 7 on the OPs list AND while this could be wrong, those 6 were never really healthy/eligible at the same time. The 5 we have right now are absurd and everyone is playing.

They mostly got Bush the ball as a tailback. It's hard to develop a pseudo slot receiver role to reliably get a guy like that the ball.

Still salty about Knowshon redshirting, especially when Brown missed half of that season.

Kirby said after the ND game we need to get the ball to number 7 more and he's not talking about Lorenzo Carter.

Lorenzo will find a way to get the ball to himself...doing a pretty good job so far this season. The other #7 definitely needs to be a bigger part of the offense.
