Happy Thanksgiving! I will be frying my turkey on Saturday because my in-laws are extremely organized.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you DawgRanters across this great land.

As to Lew's point about relatives and disorganization I'm running a little behind myself: I can't ever seem to get across to them that if I'm going to cook their turkeys it does take a few days to thaw a turkey using the refrigerator method.

Can't drink all day if you don't start first thing in the morning

Water Fielding: Where should we start?
Art Shirk: You could invite me in for a drink.
Water Fielding: Oh, yes. How silly of me, it's eleven-thirty, you must be parched.

It's a common saying amongst us alcoholics. I've been saying that for years

Pretty sure I've heard my dad and uncle saying it for at least 16 years, when we used to go to the beach and we would have baileys and coffee or bloody Mary's in the morning
