There's a lady in my office complaining that we're the richest country in the world but people on EBT only get $39/week for food. Then two sentences later complains about taxes.

Speaking of extortion...The Douglasville Farmers Mkt. starts at 4:00 today. The state of Ga. has a program that lets folk with EBT cards buy "market dollars" to use from the market manager. They spend $10 & get $20 worth of market dollars to use. Then I have to mail them to the state to get my money...

... 
All 3 markets I work (Douglasville, Peachtree City & West Cobb/E. paulding) have this set-up...

But, we're not.
We are #2 behind China (One of our largest foreign creditors, btw). And if you adjust GDP per capita, the supposed great and mighty usa falls somewhere to around #10. And that doesn't even take into account our rulers $18+ TRILLION DOLLAR debt which we are on the hook for.... (in other words, as a whole..... We're flat fricking broke.)

I read somewhere a while back that something like 25% of IRS employees make more than $100K per year. Around 20 something THOUSAND of their employees, i believe.

Not only are there soulless monsters willing to make careers doing the dirty work for a government agency that steals from you, but they are paying themselves 6-figure salaries out of that stolen loot to do it!
