I am a 50 Year Old from Cumming,Ga.When the Doc cut the cord when I was born,I bled Red and Black.I have watched and supported the Dawgs my entire life, and we have had some Massive games of Importance over the Years, too many to count. But I'm gonna fast forward this post to 2008.The so called,"Black-Out,"game when we hosted Bama at our house.I remember it very well,if yall recall that was the fall when we had the gas shortages.I was actually waiting in line at a BP Station that actually had some gasoline, and we lost, played a good game, but fell short.Fast forward to the Game of the Century, everybody knows...2012 SEC Championship Game,in which any true Dawg fan will NEVER forget. We got shite out of a Natty that year, because everybody knows we would have beaten Notre Dame, still hurts like hell to even think about that one. NOW Finally the Football Gods are Paving our way to get some much needed, and deserved revenge on Bama. They have had the Horse Shoe long enough now.I can't remember a Dawgs game that could define a Coaches 14 Year Career more than this Saturday's Game.
The reason we dont get respect from the Polls,is because everybody knows the Dawgs won't win the big one,and we sort of lost our Swagger.Respect is earned, and when you win a Game of this Magnitude, with the whole Nation watching,on the Biggest Scale there is,Georgia can silence a TON of Critics. To Me Georgia has way more riding on this game than Bama does, because they have all those Natty's to show for it.We finally have the talent to go toe to toe with them, and we need to take a Page outta Ole Miss'Handbook, and expose every weakness Bama has,and I am fully confident we will. The last Football game I ever got to watch with my Mother was that 2012 SEC Championship Game, she passed away from Breast Cancer the next spring. So I've got tears in my eye's I'm so Fired-Up for this Game. Our time is here....Our Time is NOW!!! So in the words of Lewis Grizzard, and Father Munson,Hunker Down You Silver Britches Sons a Bitches, and Stomp BAMMER with a Freakin Hobnail Boot 'till they ain't NOTHING LEFT!!! GO DAWGS!!!!!!!

Wall of text, yeah, but it's not a bad read.

To hell with Bama

Did not read. I'm guessing it has something to do with loving the Dawgs and how it will mean everything to win this game.

It's a damn game. Life will proceed win or lose.

The horse shoe is in east Alabama. We win the old fashioned way, by giving dodge chargers to 5 stars

This was the takeaway from the post that I hope our team has been hearing all week long. So far we've played no one. Where we are in the polls matters very little. Public opinion of the team for this season and going forward however is in their hands. Continue to be the team that crumbles under pressure or redefine your identity.

It does look like we've got the talent on this roster to go toe to toe with anyone. Now is the time to practice perfect so we can execute on gameday. Time to do what we do best and run it down their throats and when the time comes, Lambert will need to step up and make pressure throws. Keep it in 3rd and manageable for the good guys and I like our chances on O.

From the defensive side of the ball, just seems like a matter of playing disciplined and hard on the line. Prevent Bama from running wild and then smart play from the DBs could lead to some turnovers.

Cannot wait.

Great post! Sorry about your mom.

Not sure if this is really a career defining game for Richt or not though. If we win, the talk will be more about Saban losing than Richt winning.

Maybe it's actually more of a defining game for Saban. Who would be out of SEC/MNC contention in early October for the first time in a hundred years, it seems.
