He's having back surgery. Over the past few games Malcolm Mitchell has been targeted more.

This could be a huge opportunity for MM.

Brady compared gronk to Mitchell recently. Said they have similar hand sizes, and it shows on Sunday

Brady seems to be gaining a confidence level with MM. If that clicks MM is on the road to a very successful career.

Also, Belichick has a reputation for making adjustments when missing big players (even Brady). Therefore, I expect Malcolm to be more involved in the gameplan.

Good for Money Mitch. Bad for my fantasy team.

Seems like Gronk is turning into a Hangar Queen

Not sure what that is. Reports are a herniated disc, possibly from that Seahawks DB hit.

Hangar Queen = airplane that's down for maintenance far more than it actually flies.

As a Pats fan, it sucks having Gronk out. He's hurt so much because he is very physical and defenses get more physical with him to try to stop him. Leads to big hits and more injuries.

I'm hopeful MM gets more targets because of it, though. Aside from being a Dawg, he's a really good person and I want to see him succeed. I was happy to see him get those TDs last week and I hope he gets to be a go-to receiver in the NFL.

He is definitely getting more targets:

"Malcolm Mitchell caught 8-of-10 targets for 82 yards in the Patriots' Week 13 win over the Rams.
Mitchell took over as a near-full-time player in this one, playing in three-receiver packages alongside Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan. Mitchell clearly has the trust of Tom Brady, who is engineering a high-volume, ball-out-quick passing attack that suits all of his receivers' skill sets. Mitchell has earned every-week WR3 treatment entering a Week 14 date with Baltimore. Dec 4 - 4:23 PM"

Only one Pats receiver had more snaps than Money Mitch.
