Rules, HOnest question..... Have you ever seen one of those nightly "IM" threads over there on the emoticon/gif board? If so, I would like your honest opinion on whether that shite is actually real or whether it is some sort of joke that I don't understand. I'm being sincere here. Thanks in advance.

My theory is that we as humans are (d)evolving & eventually we'll revert back to grunting to communicate ... and at the same time we'll be highly intelligent & the SEC Rant board is like drawing on caveman walls before the enlightenment.
Theory #2: It's tough to differentiate b/w dorks and people who are slow ... I believe the ones that appear retarded online are prolly the most normal irl ... Example: It would be cool to hang out and grill steaks with Rattletrap and his family, while you might be miserable tailgating w/ Chef & some of the others.
So in summary, the threads on the other board are real & you don't get it b/c you are not hungry and staying for dinner at Rattletrap's.

I don't mind using an occasional, well placed and clever gif or meme here or there. I do think that they can sometimes get way over used and lose their value.
Apparently Jefferson hates them though.
