If they lose to Georgia, they will be 1-3 with Texas A&M and Arkansas looming.

They thought they were going to compete with Alabama for the SEC west. What a come down that will be for them. Instead, they will be battling for bowl eligibility.

Before the season I thought this would be one of Georgia's most likely losses.

I now consider this game a toss-up.

Ole Miss is supposed to be very good, but I think they may not be better than the 12 teams that lost to Dooley's junkyard dogs from 1977-1988. They remind me a lot of those Ole Miss teams. Tough in the first half, then get worn down in the second.

Plus, Chad Kelly is overrated. You can count on him to screw up every game.

It will be fun hearing the pundits pick Ole Miss this week, like many of them picked North Carolina a couple weeks ago.

Georgia Bulldogs > Ole Miss Rebels.

The two teams they've lost to would more than likely push our shite in as well. I'm just hoping we're in it at the end.

OM has the better team. We should expect to lose.

What I'll be looking for this weekend is a team that doesn't give up. Even if they are losing, I want to see them play all 60 minutes.

Exactly. Not sure why my first post got 3 down votes. Their schedule has been ridiculous and they had huge leads twice on teams better than us. We should not expect to win. We should expect to see us try to win......If that makes sense.

If we can just compete I'll be happy.

I am going into Saturday expecting to lose which will make a win that much better should we be good enough to pull it off.

I think Eason plays better because of what he was able to do this past Saturday and maybe that grows those around him a bit too.

Our secondary better be ready to run all night because if they play like they've been playing they'll hang 35 points on us before half time.

Likewise but an upset @Ole Miss would be sweet since much of their success has been due to stealing recruits from our state.

Did we have doubt when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Now who's with me!

Some Georgia fans are already excusing a loss. I expect to win. Dawg on top!

It's been a long time since I thought going in a game that we had no shot, but this is that game for me.

I just hope we improve and keep this game competitive and have some confidence moving forward

You going in expecting to lose, you probably do. With Eason, I think we have a chance. I honestly have no idea though.

It's the same group of us that predicted 3 or 4 losses this year. It's not that we don't have faith that the team can win all its games, it's that we see it as very unlikely with the level of talent with a first-year head coach. If we can't manhandle Nicholls in the trenches, how are we going to do better against OM? Our kickers aren't going to magically improve overnight, either.

We can win every game, but it's not likely. I'd rather temper my expectations a bit than go all Firewind (prior to the melt) and unrealistically assume we will win them all and go on a rampage when we don't. I'll support the team no matter what, though (another Firewind reference).

This is going to be typical for Georgia... every time we go up against a consensus good team, and beat them, the dialogue will be that the opponent was simply overrated, and UGA just isn't that good.

Beating Ole Miss will be the same story.

Ole Miss isn't that strong in the trenches either.

Their defense is terrible. Especially their pass defense.

Their defense plays really well until time of possession catches up to them. For the love of god, we HAVE to find a pass rush this week.
