There were around 40,000 Dawg fans there last night that are headed to the WLOCP and the ONLY game that mattered to us was Florida-LSU. There were zero updates of that game last night. Every other SEC game was updated multiple times. I had to call my brother twenty times to get the score. I don't understand how that happened.

I did see fireworks at the stadium for the first time and that was pretty cool.

you know whoever made that happen was so pumped all week that we were gonna see something that's never been done in Sanford before and then we didn't even score a TD

If only your beeper could get score updates. Sadly, the technology just isn't there yet.

Have you ever tried to access data on your phone during a game? All mine said was "this webpage unavailable". Do you even go to games?

Greedy providers? It happens at every stadium. I'm meeting my kid in Jax and this is her fourth WLOCP. We've never been able to connect around that stadium so we have to meet by the river. We don't even try to call each other down there anymore.

It was intentional. They didn't want the players seeing the score. They did show the last play of the game though.

2 things:

1.) No updates on LSU-UF because they didn't want the UGA players score watching that game when they needed to be focused on making it out alive against Mizzou. I thought that was kind of obvious given that they were showing literally every other game on but that one

2.) I personally never had a problem accessing anything on my phone during the game

This happens to me every year. You either know where your meeting someone ahead of time or you just hope to run into them. Damn near impossible to call or text anyone around that fricking stadium

I found my old 8-track tape deck from my 1967 Chevy II, and hooked it up and played a tape for my 16 year old granddaughter. She just listened and laughed.
The tape was Hermans Hermits.

I've got the same thing. But I will say that I've sat in the west endzone and gotten nothing, sat a few section over on the south side and had LTE the whole time, and then sat in the 600 level and didn't have a problem. May just be your section.

Does anyone remember in the offseason when somebody said the stadium was being upgraded for better cell service, and I said don't count on it, and then everybody called me a know-nothing count?

How's that cell signal in the stadium this year?

Oh yeah, I forgot, everyone in this topic says it still sucks.

Who are the know-nothing counts now?

Here's the deal... NCAA is about to subsidize upgrades in stadiums for this... no way in frick is McGarity going to spend money on something now that the NCAA is going to subsidize in the coming years.
