I'm hoping and praying that Chubb, or Mitchell steps forward and lights a fire under their arse on offense this week... Floyd, or Jenkins on defense and we come back with a fiery passion, run the table, beat Bama in the SEC championship by 30, run through Clemson and Ohio state for the national championship and start a new dynasty for Eason in 16...

Losing to Bama was the best possible loss we could have on our resume this season. My hopes are that our team has matured after that home beat down and will play with ferocity the rest of the season.
Sure, it was another embarrassing loss but lets be serious, if Richt is absolutely good for one loss a year, it's a damn good thing it came against Bama.
So in short, cool it with those negative vibes.

We need to run the ball 50+ times and survive. I fully expect us to lose another game, but there is at least a possibility we only finish with one loss. Need to get to the bye week with a single loss and put in a 2012 type performance in Jax.

I agree - as painful as that loss was. The Tenn game is and always was more important than the Bama game. If we had to choose one to lose - Bama for sure. Not even a question.

I'm sure people will call you/me/us losers for even ATTEMPTING to move forward, but it's absolutely correct. I mean we already lost, can't change that fact, so whatever. In order of preferred losses (if FORCED to choose):
-high ranking early OOC opponent
-high ranked SEC west team early/mid season
-early season good east team
-late season west team
-late season east team
-tech
-cupcake
Or something simliar to that. Idk.
Point is, losing to ULM/Southern/GAsou aren't really an option, period. Your vandy/sc on the schedule aren't good enough to give us any clout. Bama is: good, in the west, and relatively early. That's about as good as you can hope for. If we win out (not saying we WILL for those who can't read, I'm speaking hypothetically) the bama game won't matter at all. Like really, not in the least bit. If we lose another game, we're probably out of the SECCG race anyway so who cares.

It looks like Floyd is playing to protect his knees and maintain his high draft prospects. If he gets a good pass rush he looks great, but he is nowhere near the ball on runs, but he seems to get in camera range after the tackle. Check the reruns from Saturday.

He just stinks against the run. That's all there is too it. When you have an elite pass rusher you run right at him.

The only things we're doing well right now are Kickoff+Punt Return and running the ball.
We can't pass, at all.
Our defense sucks . In every facet. We're terrible against the run, dogshit against the short pass. Our safeties are playing deep on every play.
You shut down our run, and we can't score, period. Chubb could easily have a career day against us.
I don't even think we keep it close.
