Not surprising considering the talent there...

J.J. Green moved atop Georgia Tech’s depth chart at A-back because he’s tough, physical and likes playing football,
according to coach Paul Johnson.
“He would have been there a year ago if he were eligible, ” Johnson said.
Green wasn’t eligible because he transferred from Georgia to Tech in January 2015 and had to sit out a year per the NCAA’s rules.

He's a perfect fit for that role and will be annoying to deal with.

tech hasn't signed a 4* recruit since 2013 so I'm not surprised our castoffs would instantly rise to the top of their depth chart.

He will do very well for them. Very well.

I wish he'd have stayed, we could have used him last year, but I totally understand why he transferred out.

Does tell you the difference in talent level between the two schools.

Dedrick mills the freshman from Waycross is their starting B back. Will rotate with Keiths brother and he is a load. Wish georgia would have looked at him more because I think he will become a thorn in our side. Turkey neck gushes over him.

Looking forward to him fumbling the ball a lot in that offense along with marshall.

Not surprising considering JJ's talent. He's gonna be a problem.

I really don't understand how people think he is gonna be a problem for us. He is undersized, and would be sitting at 7th on our depth chart right now... 7th, let that sink in.

Most the of their backs would be low on our depth charts, however, the system they run allows terds to rise to greatness (relatively speaking). J.J. Green will be a do well there.

He would be ahead of Douglas, who is likely not 6th.

for all you lumping in JJ with the word "terd"...and downplaying his accomplishments at the trade school...let's not forget who stepped in and did his best for us wherever he was needed...in the inept CMR regime...on both sides of the ball...I know his family and he is a class act...so ease off...he went where he had the best opportunity...no shite he would be low on the depth chart with us tho...Gurley/Chubb/Michel?...cmon...we have had one of the best backfields in the entire country the past few years...just bit by the injury bug and couldn't put other pieces around them when they were healthy....this board....

I disagree, I think he would be right there with Douglas, who will be 6th after the first couple games, barring injury or a redshirt.

I'm not saying he won't do well there, I'm just saying I'm not worried about him gashing our defense.
