The last time UGA won the SEC...
Urban Meyer was an unknown who had just left his job as head coach of the Utah Utes.
Facebook wasn't available to the general public, and wouldn't be for another year.
Osama bin Laden's mansion was built in Pakistan. It would be raided 6 years later.
Gus Malzahn was coaching at Springdale High School in Arkansas.
Jeremy Pruitt was an assistant coach at Hoover High School in Alabama.
Chip Kelly was an assistant coach in New Hampshire.
Michael Jordan had only been retired for two years.
The Backstreet Boys were still making records, with the release of Never Gone.
Gene Chizik was a linebackers coach.
Jimbo Fisher was an assistant at LSU.
I gotta run.
THis is the year.

Not true. Facebook was already up and running. I was a freshman in high school when my sister made me make an account in 05.

Mid-2005 was the first time you could do that. That's the year it went global.

You must be special then.

ETa... in other words, before Oct 2005, facebook access was extremely limited.

On October 1, 2005, Facebook expanded to twenty-one universities in the United Kingdom and others around the world. Facebook launched a high school version in September 2005, which Zuckerberg called the next logical step.[42] At that time, high school networks required an invitation to join.[43] Facebook later expanded membership eligibility to employees of several companies, including Apple Inc. and Microsoft.[44] On December 11, 2005, universities in Australia and New Zealand were added to the Facebook network, bringing its size to 2,000+ colleges and 25,000 + high schools throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. Facebook was then opened on September 26, 2006 to everyone aged 13 and older with a valid e-mail address.[6][7]

Apparently you dickholes are illiterate. 2006 was the open date for anyone over 13. In 2004, at least at UGA, you could sign up with a UGA email

OK, I'll edit the OP to say "Facebook wouldn't be available to the general public for another year"

Fixed, realized the inside joke wouldn't carry over from the SECR and just take away from the message.

correct. I had it in fall of 04 with a college email.
Worst thing for the actual product (although obviously, not taking into account popularity and global reach) was letting high schoolers and old people on facebook. I wonder what it'd be like today if you still had to have a college email to join.
